Angels: On This Day in History, Scott Spiezio Kept the World Series Hope Alive

October 26 is a very special day in Angels history. Exactly 20 years ago today, Scott Spiezio came up to bat with the Angels trailing 5-0 in the 7th inning of Game 6 of the 2002 World Series.

He then turned on an inside pitch, crushed it to right field, and gave the Angels life. In the 8th inning, the team would end up scoring another three runs, pushing the series to a Game 7. The rest, of course, is history.
