In Jim Mora’s first season as the UConn football coach, he has been less haunted by the ghosts of UConn’s past than he is by his own home.

A day before UConn’s opening game at Utah State, Mora told ESPN that he was “convinced” his house was “haunted”. Since relocating to Storrs, just a six minute walk from the UConn campus, Mora said he has noticed doors opening, odd shadows and has heard odd noises.

On Saturday, with Halloween looming two days later, ESPN College GameDay will feature a segment on Mora’s house, according to Bob Joyce of iHeart Radio.

“I just warn everyone who stays that it’s haunted,” Mora told ESPN, “but they’re good ghosts.”
