A time-honored holiday tradition has come to an end.
The iconic Charlie Brown films we all know and love will not air on broadcast television this holiday season. Apple TV+, which bought the exclusive rights to the franchise in 2020, will be the only platform airing the classic movies.
The streaming platform partnered with PBS in the past but retained exclusive rights to the Charlie Brown films for 2022.
However, don’t panic Greater Cincinnatians. While subscribers can stream the specials now and every day on Apple TV+, the platform will provide free windows for nonsubscribers to watch the Peanuts’ favorite holiday programs.
Here’s a look at when the films will be free to view.
